Recently, with various media highlighting the importance of Gut microbiome, especially lactic acid bacteria, consumers seeking products for simple gut health are changing their purchasing patterns. Nowadays, consumers meticulously check which probiotics are included in the products, how they work, the number of species in the products, and how they are ingested before purchasing.

To meet this market demand, eGnome has developed the 'Metagenome Analysis Program, PCC' in collaboration with the KOREA FDA to compare and analyze probiotics by using next-generation sequencing (NGS) equipment, which secures microbiome sequencing data, to accurately determine the species and content of probiotics present in products.
