Microbiome specialist company eGnome (CEO Seoae Cho) announced that a paper published in the 2019 issue of Nature's sister journal, Scientific Reports, was selected for the 2021 Faculty Opinions. The paper classified the gut microbiomes of 107 individuals, including healthy subjects and those with six diseases (mild episodic symptoms, pediatric specificity, chronic fatigue syndrome, AIDS, stroke, and colorectal cancer), using artificial intelligence algorithms. Faculty Opinions is a platform where renowned researchers and professors from around the world recommend important research papers in their fields, thereby highlighting the significance of these studies.
