Microbiome company eGnome announced that its high-quality genome production and assembly platform, ‘Galaxy,’ developed in collaboration with major global biotech firms, has been published in Nature Biotechnology. Galaxy, a public cloud-based platform, enables simultaneous processing of terabyte-scale genome data through a user-friendly GUI and API, currently operating in the U.S., EU, and Australia. It is set to become a core technology for the Earth Biogenome Project, an international consortium aiming to decode 1.8 million eukaryotic genomes within ten years. eGnome’s CEO, Seoae Cho, noted, “International collaboration is accelerating advancements in genomics, and eGnome will continue contributing to the biotech industry with cutting-edge genome technology.”
