Feb. 13, 2025

eGnome has signed a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) agreement with the Uzbek government to establish a K-Bio Innovation Center in Samarkand by June 1, 2025, aiming to modernize the local healthcare system. The center, spanning 1,000 pyeong, will handle diagnostic testing for over 100 national hospitals and will be operated with financial and policy support from the Uzbek government. Equipped with state-of-the-art medical and research facilities, it will focus on technology transfer, expert training, and collaboration with national medical institutions, universities, and research labs to enhance the capabilities of local healthcare professionals. To strengthen this initiative, eGnome recently held a strategic meeting with the president of Samarkand State Medical University, where they agreed to expand cooperation in bio-research, drug development, clinical trials, and medical talent exchange while also working to standardize testing services across national hospitals. eGnome CEO Seo-ae Cho emphasized that this partnership marks a crucial milestone in the company’s global expansion, with the goal of leading the bio-healthcare market in Central Asia through innovative medical solutions and strategic collaborations.
